Dependencies are the relationships of the preceding tasks to the succeeding tasks. Tasks may have multiple preceding tasks and multiple succeeding tasks. The most common dependency relationship is a finish-to-start relationship.

would really like to see automatic dates for dependent tasks, e.g. schedule the first task for 5 days after project start, then when this is completed, schedule the next task for 3 days after completion

How's this feature progressing? This feature is important for templating repeating tasks. The release notes mentioned June 2023, so I'm excited to see it when ready :)

Will we be able to set automatic dates for subsequent tasks?

For example, after task one is complete, automatically set the next task for 2 days time.
